The magic of the past and the comforts of the present
The farmhouse is immersed in an olive grove. A two-story structure, the house was probably a stage post on the ancient road that linked Lucca and Pistoia, and Leonardo da Vinci might even have stayed here.
Guests may choose from seven apartments, each one with a comfortable lounge area with a couch and a fully-equipped kitchen corner; the bedrooms all have en suite bathrooms.
The apartments have been organized in a way that not only respects the ancient structure of the house, but also reveals a little bit of its history.
Stone walls, terra-cotta and wood floors, exposed wooden-beamed ceilings with the original handmade bricks, traditional furniture and beds made from wrought iron will take you back to earlier times, without sacrificing any of today’s modern comforts. Each apartment, in fact, is equipped with an independent air-conditioning unit for the hottest days of the year.
Agriturismo I Pitti is located just a few minutes from Pistoia, in an ideal position for visiting Florence, Lucca, Pisa and the main Tuscan art cities.
The swimming pool is for the exclusive use of our guests
Outside, guests can cool down in the swimming pool after dozing for a couple of hours on one of the sun beds provided, or after coming back form the visit of one of the wonderful art towns in the surroundings.

About us 2025
We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Agriturismo I Pitti! De omgeving, evenals het uitzicht vanaf de B&B, is adembenemend: groene heuvels en charmante dorpjes. Het is een perfecte plek om tot rust te komen, weg van de drukte, maar toch dicht genoeg bij Florence, Lucca, Pisa en Pistoia zelf voor mooie dagtrips. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Fabrizio en zijn ouders. De gastvrijheid was fantastisch – hartelijk, persoonlijk en met veel tips beschreven in hun eigen blog. ’s Ochtends genieten van een ontbijt met uitzicht over de heuvels was voor ons een klein geluksmoment. Wij verbleven in de ruime chalet, welke voorzien was van een keukentje (waterkoker, tostiijzer, pannen aanwezig) en eettafel, eigen badkamer (föhn en handdoeken aanwezig) en een kledingrek. De weg erna toe was een beleving, maar prima te doen. Er is voldoende en ruime parkeergelegenheid, incl. laadpaal. Kortom: een ideale uitvalsbasis om Toscane te ontdekken, maar ook om gewoon te ontspannen en het echte Italiaanse leven te proeven.

We stayed a couple of days in Agriturismo I Pitti. I was looking for an apartment in a typical Tuscan style and it was exactly what I was looking for. We could experience Tuscan style and take part in their dinner with home made dishes. We highly recommend this place! About an hour from Piza airport.

Ein Urlaub für die Seele, das Herz und fürs Gefühl. Toskana pur. Man wünschte die Wände könnten sprechen. Wie eine kleine Zeitreise. Es fühlt sich an, wie Urlaub bei Freunden oder der Familie. Giuliano, Stella und Fabrizio sind so herzlich und immer hilfsbereit. Wem Luxus nicht so wichtig ist und wer die Toskana wirklich kennen lernen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Es war einfach herrlich.

This is a very beautiful place, it feels an honour to stay in this special spot looking out over the valleys. It is a bit of a drive up a windy track to get there but for this reason it is quiet and your are really in nature.
Fabrizio Stella and everyone else are kind and thoughtful and there is a wonderful breakfast which you can order.
Our children loved the swimming pool and the dog Cleo, we loved eating under the olive trees and watching the sunsets.
We will definitely be back!

Das Haus ist wundervoll restauriert und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist herrlich angelegt und bietet zahlreiche Plätze um sich auszuruhen. Der Pool ist herrlich in die Landschaft integriert und der Liegebereich wunderschön terrassenförmig angelegt. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wunderbar war das gemeinsame Essen der Gäste mit frisch zubereiteten Speisen durch die Gastgeberfamilie

Our appartement was cool, quiet, comfortable and sufficiently equipped. Beds were good & firm. We did not use the breakfast option but other guests did and it looked very good. The surrounding garden and countryside are very peaceful and beautiful and it is a very agreeable place. Pool is pleasant and secluded. The grounds are a bit overgrown and left to wild but we liked it. Owners are friendly and easygoing. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and bucolic tuscan experience, "far from the madding crowd". We read many reviews complaining about the drive to the house, which we cannot understand. It is a beautiful forest lane and perfectly ok. But if you care more about your car than about nature and if you want manicured lawns and sterile gardens go somewhere else and leave this place to us. We will definitely come back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at your beautiful Agriturismo. Your place is located in such quiet and stunning surroundings, right in the heart of the Tuscan hills and nature – it was truly balm for the soul.
We especially enjoyed the lovely pool, the peaceful atmosphere, and your great hospitality. It was the perfect base for us to explore the beauty of Tuscany, and we had fantastic trips to Pisa, Florence, Lucca, and the beach.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollen Gastgebern!
Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Der Garten ist wunderschön und man erreicht bekannte Städte der Toskana in 30-60 Minuten. Die Wohnung war in klassisch toskanischem Stil eingerichtet, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Zudem war sie mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht.
Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und waren immer da, falls man was brauchte. Wir fanden es auch sehr schön, dass ein Mal pro Woche ein gemeinsames Abendessen veranstaltet wird. Zudem kann leckerer Wein gekauft werden. 🍷
Ein Zusatzstern gibt es für Cleo. 🐕
