Just 700 meters from Agriturismo I Pitti, in the village of Serravalle, you can book a public tennis court by the hour. The court is well maintained and also open in the evening, making it ideal for staying active during your stay, after a day of relaxation or exploring the area.

Inaugurated in 1956, the Pinocchio Park is no ordinary theme park, but rather a precious masterpiece created by artists of great character working together.  It is approx 15 km far away from the Agriturismo I Pitti.

The literary itinerary, marked out by mosaics, buildings and sculptures set amidst the greenery, emerges from an inspired combination of art and nature. The path is winding, and the dense vegetation means that every stage on the route comes as an unexpected surprise, with the  plants and trees contributing to create the atmosphere and the episodes in the story of the Adventures of Pinocchio. The Park itself is the site of constantly renewed cultural activities that are always mindful of its roots: exhibitions of art and illustrations inspired by children’s literature and the Story of Pinocchio, puppet-making workshops, puppet and marionette shows and minstrels enliven the visit to the Park, depending on the season. 

The park is equipped with tables and chairs where to eat a packed lunch. One can spend an entire day in a shady and cool place dedicated to Pinocchio.

The Grotta Giusti Natural Spa Resort one of the most exclusive spas in the world and is only 10 Km far away from the Agriturismo I Pitti. 

The 750 square metres of outdoor thermal pool has a water temperature of 34°C with picturesque waterfall and underwater hydromassages.

This beach is approx. 50 km far away from the Agriturismo I Pitti and can be reached by the highway A11 in a 45 minutes drive.

This is a beach quite different from the other one, with beautiful sand dunes. It is located in the middle of a Natural Park, it belongs to the Municipality of Vecchiano and it has organized portions of beach where you can rent sun umbrellas and laying chairs, as well as free beaches. There are also some bars on the beach where one can have a snack, or even have lunch or dinner. This beach is not mentioned by the maps and is known only by local people.

Nestled in the greenery of the Tuscan countryside, the Bellosguardo Golf Club of Vinci is approximately 25 km from Agriturismo I Pitti. The golf course, with its 9 holes, winds through breathtaking landscapes characterized by gentle slopes, olive groves, and lush forests.

Pistoia Underground Museum offers a reconstruction of the hospital's history through the ages from a 700 metres long underground route expanding under the ancient Ospedale del Ceppo and under the historic centre of the town. Pistoia Sotterranea is the longest hypogeous path in Tuscany.

If you want to give your children an idea of how the ballroom and the bedroom of a princess could look like, I suggest you to visit the Palazzo Mansi in Lucca.

Due to its characteristics and its prestigious furniture  Palazzo Mansi can be considered the "Museum of the patrician residence of Lucca." 

On the main floor, the music hall and the three salons with the alcove are the main reason to visit the museum, thanks to the wealth of Flemish seventeenth century tapestries that cover the walls, the eighteenth-century silk embroideries of the bedroom, and the scenographic  decorations in carved and gilded wood.

The Grotta del Vento is in the centre of Garfagnana, a mountainous area that coincides with the other valley of the Serchio river, at approx. 80 km from the Agriturismo I Pitti.

The Wind Cave offers an exceptional variety of underground karst aspects ranging from living and shining stalactites and stalagmites, to little lakes, water courses, forms of erosion, mud formations and even perfectly-vertical shafts which can be visited with practical walkways.

The park is located near the sea, about 55 km from the Agriturismo I  Pitti.
